Online Women's Health Naturopath across New Zealand

Specialised support for endometriosis, PCOS and hormonal imbalance, from wherever you are in NZ.

Getting the right support for your hormones, your cycle, or a condition like endometriosis or PCOS should not depend on where you live.

As an online naturopath based in Wanaka, I work with women across New Zealand, from Auckland to Invercargill, who are done with generic advice and one-size-fits-all protocols. Online consultations give you access to the same in-depth, evidence-led, functional approach as in-person care, without the commute.

If you have been told your results are normal but you know something is not right, this is where that changes.

Online naturopathic support for complex women's health

I specialise in the conditions that tend to be underserved, underfunded, and underdiagnosed. The ones where you have seen multiple practitioners, been told your bloods are fine, and still feel nowhere near okay.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis affects around one in ten women, yet average diagnosis still takes years. As an online endometriosis naturopath, I work with women who have a confirmed diagnosis and women who are still waiting for one. Together we investigate the drivers behind inflammation, hormone imbalance, gut dysfunction, and immune dysregulation, and build a plan that actually addresses what is happening in your body.

PCOS

PCOS is not one condition. It is a pattern of dysfunction that shows up differently in every body. Insulin resistance, adrenal-driven androgens, inflammatory patterns, or post-pill suppression each require a completely different approach. As an online PCOS naturopath, I use functional testing to identify your type and build care that reflects your biology, not a generic PCOS protocol.

Hormonal imbalance

Painful periods, mood changes across your cycle, hormonal acne, irregular bleeding, PMS, PMDD. Hormonal imbalance is rarely just one thing. I use the EndoMAP dried urine hormone panel alongside pathology to build a clear picture of where your hormones are struggling and why, then support each pathway systematically.

Gut health and the gut-hormone connection

Your gut and hormones are in constant conversation. Oestrogen metabolism, inflammation, immune function, and even mood are all shaped by what is happening in your digestive system. If gut symptoms are part of your picture, that is factored into every aspect of your care.

How online naturopath consultations work

Online consultations run exactly the same as in-person appointments, just from the comfort of your own home. All appointments are held via secure video call, with the same depth of assessment, the same quality of care, and the same personalised treatment planning.

What to expect

  • A thorough intake of your health history, symptoms, cycle, and lifestyle

  • Functional and/or pathology testing recommended and arranged remotely

  • A personalised health plan covering nutrition, herbal medicine, supplements, and lifestyle

  • Ongoing monthly reviews to track progress and refine your plan

  • Secure practitioner messaging between appointments via Practice Better

  • Test kit collection from your home, results reviewed together online

You do not need to be in Wanaka, or even near a naturopath, to receive the level of care you deserve.

Functional testing, available anywhere in NZ

Advanced functional testing is available as a standalone service or as part of any Naturalist program. All testing is ordered through NutriPath and i-Screen, trusted third-party providers. Results are interpreted in the context of your full health picture, not in isolation.

EndoMAP

The EndoMAP is NutriPATH’s most comprehensive at-home dried urine test, offering a full assessment of hormonal, metabolic and environmental factors that influence hormone health. It provides detailed insights into four major hormone pathways: oestrogen, androgens, progesterone and glucocorticoids - giving a complete picture of hormone production, metabolism and clearance. The panel also includes organic acids, endocrine disruptors and heavy metals, helping identify deeper drivers of hormonal imbalance.

Included in the Thrive Programs, Blueprint packages, and Endo, PCOS, and Hormone Reset packages.

Complete Microbiome Mapping

The Complete Microbiome Mapping Test (CMM) is a comprehensive stool analysis that assesses the balance, diversity and function of your gut microbiome. It identifies microbes that may drive inflammation, digestive symptoms or hormonal disruption, including pathogenic bacteria, opportunistic organisms, fungi, viruses and parasites. The panel also includes key immune and digestive markers, providing a full picture of gut health and its role in your overall wellbeing.

Included in the Gut Reset package

Pathology and Pathology Analysis

Pathology testing forms an essential foundation in women’s health, helping uncover the biochemical and physiological factors behind symptoms such as fatigue, irregular cycles, acne, PCOS patterns, thyroid issues, gut symptoms and mood changes. Comprehensive blood work - including full thyroid profiles, sex hormone panels, nutrient status, metabolic markers and inflammatory indicators — provides a clear, clinical overview of how the body is functioning. These tests assess thyroid health, iron and B-vitamin levels, glucose and insulin regulation, liver function, reproductive hormones and more.

I have completed pathology analysis training with The Institute for Integrative and Functional Pathology.

Included in the Thrive Programmes and Blueprint packages alongside functional testing.

Vaginal Microbiome Profile

The Vaginal Microbiome Profile is a specialised test that assesses the balance of bacteria, fungi and other microbes within the vaginal ecosystem. It identifies beneficial Lactobacillus species, detects overgrowths of pathogenic organisms linked to BV, yeast infections or trichomoniasis, and highlights patterns of imbalance that may contribute to symptoms such as discharge, itching, odour, discomfort or recurrent infections. By understanding the exact microbial makeup of the vaginal environment, this test helps pinpoint the root cause of symptoms and guides a targeted, effective treatment plan that supports long-term vaginal and reproductive health.

Available as a standalone test. Ask about this on your Clarity Call.

Client case study: Endometriosis and whole-body healing

Endometriosis | Pain | Hormonal Acne | Fatigue

Female, 29 years old

Presenting concerns: Endometriosis (surgically confirmed), chronic pelvic pain, painful periods, hormonal acne, fatigue, and digestive bloating.

Initial consult summary

Heavy, painful periods with clotting

“Endo belly” and bloating, especially around ovulation and menstruation

Cyclical hormonal acne on her chin and jaw

Low energy and brain fog, especially mid-luteal phase

A feeling of being “stuck in survival mode”

Her diet was relatively balanced, but she consumed a moderate amount of dairy, gluten, and alcohol. She also had a high-stress job with poor work-life boundaries and minimal nervous system regulation.

What we focused on

We focused on herbal support to regulate hormones and ease inflammation, alongside nutrition and supplements to balance blood sugar, support liver detox, and calm the nervous system. Simple daily practices were also introduced to reduce stress and reconnect with the menstrual cycle.

After 1 month

Pain and bloating had started to ease, skin was clearing, and energy felt more stable.

After 2 months

Cycles were becoming more regular, period pain had reduced further, and acne flare-ups were less frequent.

After 3 months

Periods were manageable without medication, energy and mood were more consistent, and there was a stronger sense of connection and trust in the body.

What oestrogen dominance actually means and when the label gets it wrong

Oestrogen dominance is one of the most used terms in women's health and one of the least precisely applied. Here is what it actually means, when it is accurate, and when it is pointing at the wrong problem entirely.

Endometriosis is an immune dysfunction, here's why that changes the conversation

Endometriosis has long been framed as a hormone problem. But underneath the oestrogen story is an immune story, and it is the one that explains why hormonal treatment helps some women significantly and barely touches others.

Functional Testing for Endometriosis: Understanding the EndoMAP and Pathology

Functional testing can provide clarity when endometriosis symptoms persist despite lifestyle and nutrition changes. This article explains how the EndoMAP dried urine test and targeted pathology are used together to understand hormone metabolism, inflammation, and the underlying drivers of endometriosis symptoms.

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes. Endometriosis care does not require you to be in the same room as your practitioner. Online naturopathic support for endometriosis includes comprehensive health assessment, functional hormone testing posted to your home, personalised nutrition and herbal medicine protocols, and monthly review consultations via video call. Many women find online care more accessible and just as effective as in-person support.

  • Online consultations take place via secure video call and follow the same format as in-person appointments. Before your first session, you complete a detailed intake form covering your health history, symptoms, cycle, lifestyle, and goals. During the consultation, we go through everything in depth, discuss testing options, and by the end you have a clear health plan with specific nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle recommendations.
