Tegan Hollows Women's Health Naturpath

Functional Women's Health Practitioner

Tegan is a qualified Naturopath and Medical Herbalist based in Wanaka, specialising in functional women’s health and complex hormone conditions.

Her clinical work focuses on endometriosis, PCOS, hormone imbalances, and the underlying drivers that often sit beneath persistent symptoms such as fatigue, inflammation, digestive issues, and chronic skin conditions.

Using advanced functional testing, pathology analysis, herbal medicine, and personalised treatment planning, Tegan helps women move beyond symptom management and toward long-term stability in their health.

Her passion for natural medicine is deeply personal. After navigating years of her own health challenges  including endometriosis, PCOS, ovarian cysts, and hormonal acne - she became determined to understand why symptoms occur and how the body can be supported to restore balance.

These experiences now inform her compassionate, investigative approach to care.

Tegan's approach

Tegan Hollows Women's Health Naturpath

Tegan regularly works with functional laboratories and pathology testing to strengthen diagnostic insight and ensure treatment plans are both thorough and measurable.

Her work combines evidence-based naturopathic medicine with a personalised approach that considers the full context of each person’s health.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Natural Medicine (Distinction)
Level 1 Pathology Analysis Training
Awarded SPCNM Clinical Excellence Award

Level 2 Reiki Training

Registered member of Naturopaths and Medical Herbalists of New Zealand (NMHNZ)

Tegan’s practice integrates herbal medicine, therapeutic nutrition, functional testing, and nervous system support to address the complex interaction between the endocrine, digestive, immune, and metabolic systems.

Rather than simply suppressing symptoms, her work focuses on identifying the underlying drivers contributing to hormone imbalance and chronic health concerns.

Many of the women she works with have been told their results are “normal,” despite continuing to experience persistent symptoms. Through deeper investigation and personalised care, her goal is to help clients better understand their bodies and create sustainable improvements in their health.

Her clinical work often focuses on conditions such as:

  • Endometriosis

  • PCOS

  • Hormone imbalance

  • Chronic inflammation

  • Gut–hormone dysfunction

  • Fatigue and metabolic stress

By working with both functional laboratory testing and conventional pathology analysis, treatment plans can be designed with clarity and precision rather than guesswork.

Clinical Principles: How I approach client care

Investigation before intervention

Rather than guessing or applying generic protocols, I prioritise functional testing and pathology analysis to understand what is actually driving your symptoms.

Whole-system thinking

Hormone conditions rarely exist in isolation. Treatment plans consider how hormones, metabolism, gut health, inflammation, and nervous system regulation interact.

Personalised treatment

No two bodies are identical. Every plan is tailored to your biology, symptoms, and test results rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Sustainable, long-term change

The goal is not quick fixes, but building stability your body can maintain long after treatment ends.

If you're unsure which pathway is right for you, a clarity call is the best place to start.
