Healthy apple crumble

A homely crumble with stewed apples and berries under a buttery oat topping. It is lightly sweetened with rice syrup and a little sugar, and it is high in fibre from the fruit and oats. Dessert does not have to come off the table when you are working on your hormones.

Why this supports your hormones

Apples and berries supply fibre and polyphenols. The oats add slow-release carbohydrate and more fibre, so the blood sugar response is gentler than a standard crumble. Use it as a treat that still supports your gut.
